• I’m Brian Chambers. I make IT happen — and I make IT easy.

30+ years in IT. Professor, creator/producer/filmmaker, and community volunteer. Trusted by organizations that need technology to just work.

What You Get

You work with me directly. I’m the person who learns your environment, answers your call, shows up on site, and maps the plan. I’m practical, steady under pressure, and focused on keeping your systems reliable, secure, and simple to use.

Early Start in IT

I began in the ’90s as a teenager, building computers at a small local shop. That hands-on start still drives how I work: understand the goal, keep it simple, and deliver something dependable.

Networks Across Industries

By my early 20s I was designing and building networks for the University of Toronto, Harry Rosen, manufacturers, retailers, and more — essentially every industry. Those projects taught me to balance security, performance, and real-world constraints.

University & Creative Disciplines

In my late 20s I studied Literature, Film, and Spanish at the University of Toronto. That mix of analysis, storytelling, and language sharpened how I communicate with teams and stakeholders.

Creator, Producer & Filmmaker

I created a show that was picked up by the Food Network, produced feature films and documentaries, and I’m an avid photographer who’s shot hundreds of headshots. I’ve also performed stage comedy in Toronto, served on the board of a not-for-profit theatre, and appeared at Just for Laughs in Montreal. Producing and performing strengthened my planning, timing, and confidentiality — skills I bring to IT.

Professor & Program Designer

I taught Computer Sciences and designed senior-year programs, guiding students from second year through graduation. That experience cemented my habits of clear explanation, rigorous documentation, and reliable systems. My expertise has also been used as evidence before the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa, reinforcing accuracy and accountability.

Community & Partnerships

I now live full-time in Duncan, BC. I serve as an on-call firefighter and have sat on nonprofit boards. I operate as a solo lead with a strong bench of trusted partners (Microsoft 365/Exchange, VoIP, web/SEO), so you get one accountable point of contact without vendor finger-pointing.

Strategic Partnerships

I’m a solo lead with a strong bench: Microsoft 365/Exchange specialists, VoIP engineers, and web/SEO pros. I coordinate the work and stand behind the results, so you get one point of contact and an integrated outcome.

Who I Help

Organizations that need technology to “just work” — professional services (including law), municipal/public, trades and field services, retail and hospitality, clinics and nonprofits. If uptime, security, and clear communication matter, we’ll work well together.
